Coin value: euro & pesetas

Photograph a coin and find out which one it is and what it is worth in its grade, with the source and date of the price. Pesetas, euros and all 610 €2 commemoratives.
Take a photo of the front and back of a coin and Calderilla tells you which one it is, its year, its mint, how many were struck and what it is worth in its condition. Spanish pesetas from 1869 to 2001, euro coins of every country and the 610 commemorative €2 coins.
Year, mint, star, mintage, metal, weight and diameter, taken from official publications. If the star or the date can't be read well, it asks for a close-up instead of guessing. If the reading is doubtful, it shows you the 2 or 3 candidates so you choose. Coins from other countries are identified approximately.
For each grade (Fine, Very Fine, Extremely Fine and Uncirculated) you see an orientative price range, with how many sales or sources back it and which month it is from. If a coin is worth its face value, we say so plainly; if we don't have a reliable price, we say that too. If it may be worth a lot, we suggest getting it appraised. It is not an appraisal or an offer to buy.
Drawings of the wear and where to look, so you can pick the grade without knowing numismatics.
In batch mode you take one photo of many coins and Calderilla sets apart the ones worth keeping from the pocket change.
The complete list by country and year: tick the ones you have and look for the ones you're missing in your change.
An album with the value of your collection, a backup with a code and export to PDF and CSV.
Free: 3 scans a day, an album of up to 30 coins, the full list of commemoratives and one batch as a gift.
Calderilla Pro: unlimited scans (fair use), batch mode with up to 20 coins per photo, unlimited album, the value history and export. Monthly, yearly (with 7 days free) or forever with a one-off payment.
No ads and no accounts. Photos are not kept.
Place the coin on a plain surface with light from one side, fill the circle and take the front, then the back. If the year or the small digits inside the stars of a peseta are not readable, the app asks for a close-up.
Each result shows how sure it is and the coins it ruled out. If it is not your coin, tap «This is not my coin» and choose the right one: it helps us improve.
From public sales and catalogs, shown as a range for each grade (BC, MBC, EBC, SC) with the number of sources and the date. When a coin is only worth its face value, we say so.
Settings › Backup creates a code. Keep it: with it you can restore your album on a new phone.
