What it is

Build your nativity scene on your phone this Christmas: clay figures, bonfires at night and Three Kings who come a little closer every day.

Build a nativity scene like the one at home, on your phone. A table, moss, a river and lots of painted clay figures you place and turn with your finger. No rush, no scores and no ads.

YOUR NATIVITY, PIECE BY PIECE

  • The stable with the Holy Family, the angel and the star, shepherds, sheep, the ox and the donkey.
  • Houses, a bridge, a well, bonfires, palm trees, rocks and moss to build the village your way.
  • Drag, rotate, duplicate and remove. If a piece does not fit, it moves to the nearest free spot.
  • Get close to the figures at eye level or look at the whole scene from above.

DAY AND NIGHT

Go from day to dusk to night: windows, bonfires and the star light up, and a music box plays “Silent Night”.

THE THREE KINGS REALLY ARRIVE

Place Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar where their journey starts: every day they walk a little towards the stable and arrive on 6 January (Epiphany). Open the app and see how far they still have to go.

A SCENE FULL OF LIFE

The blacksmith strikes the anvil, the washerwoman washes in the river, the chestnut seller stokes her fire and the windmill turns in the wind.

FIND THE HIDDEN FIGURE

Hand the phone to someone: we hide the caganer, a little figure from the Catalan tradition, and they must find it. There is also a slow camera tour around your scene.

SHARE IT WITH A LINK

Make a link and your family can see your nativity in 3D in their browser, nothing to install. You can ask them to find the hidden figure.

FREE, NO SMALL PRINT

The stable, shepherds, animals and basic village are free. “Complete nativity” is a one-time purchase, forever: the Three Kings with their journey and their camel, the moving trades, Herod’s castle, the windmill, the fountain, the market, the cart, more houses and more figures. No subscription and no ads.

In English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.

Frequently asked questions

How do I share my scene?

Tap “Share” in your scene. The app creates a link (basel1905.com/b/…) you can send by WhatsApp or anywhere. Whoever opens it sees the picture and can turn it around in 3D in the browser, without installing anything. If you share the same scene again, the link is updated and stays the same.

What is the caganer?

It is a little traditional figure of Catalan nativity scenes, hidden in some corner. If you hide one in your scene, whoever opens the link can look for it in 3D and see how long it takes.

I changed phones and do not have the full nativity scene

Open Settings › Restore purchases with the same Apple ID you bought it with.

The link says the scene is gone

The scene was deleted (400 days without visits, or on request). Share it again from the app to create a new link.

It does not show in 3D

The 3D viewer needs a recent browser (an up-to-date Safari, Chrome or Firefox). If it cannot run, the picture of the scene is still shown.
