What it is
Every day, 5 new cards, the same for everyone: hang them in order on your clothesline and share your score. Which came first, Coca-Cola or Monopoly?
Which came first: the London Underground or the telephone? Lego or the Rubik's Cube? In Cronia you get a card without a year and you have to hang it on your clothesline, in its place among the cards you already have. Get it right and it stays up with its year. Get it wrong and it falls, and we show you where it went.

2 to 6 players with one phone. Everyone has their own clothesline, and whoever hangs the most cards wins.
CARDS FROM HERE, DATES CHECKED
More than 1,700 cards written for the UK and the US, not translated: BBC Radio 1, the Beatles, the Golden Gate Bridge, Wimbledon, the first iPhone… Every date is checked by a program against Wikidata and Wikipedia, and when you place a card you see the exact date and a fun fact.

No ads, all 10 themes, the archive with every past day and an extra life in every game. €14.99 a year with 7 free days for new subscribers, €1.99 a month, or €24.99 once, for life. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them, at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your account settings.

How to play
At the bottom you have a card without a year. Up on the clothesline hang cards with their years: oldest at the top. Drag the card into the gap where you think it goes (or tap the gap). Get it right and it stays up; get it wrong and it falls, and we show you where it went.
Daily game
5 new cards every day, the same for everyone playing in your language. You can leave half-way and carry on later. At the end you see whether you did better than the others and share a picture of your result. New cards arrive tomorrow at 00:00.
Free play and endless
Pick a theme and a difficulty. In «Classic» you get 10 cards and 3 lives; in «Endless» you keep going until you lose all 3 lives. When you run out of lives you can get one more by watching an ad (with Plus, without an ad).
Duels by link
You play 8 cards from a theme and send the link. Your friend plays the same 8, in the app or in the browser. Whoever places more wins; if it's a tie, the faster one. The link lasts 7 days. If you see an offensive nickname, tap the little flag to report it.
Party mode
2 to 6 players with one phone: each has their own clothesline and places one card per round. Whoever has the most cards hanging at the end wins.
I spotted a wrong date
Dates are checked against Wikidata and Wikipedia, but if you see a mistake write to us with the card's text and we will fix it in the next version.
Purchases
If Cronia Plus does not show up, use Settings › Restore purchases with the same App Store or Google Play account.
Cancelling the subscription
You cancel it in the store, not in the game: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play › your picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Do it at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
